we don’t tell who people are by their greatness
but by their faults
you cannot discern upon a maxim you haven’t reached
yet upon that which is familiar
even a fool can quantify a difference
all but thee and me
i’ve thought about going ‘really’ crazy
really have
for ONE thing
it would teach those little stupids right
to wind up
GOOD and HARD
go sailing off that cliff in a ball of colors
a demonstration
of art
in its rarest form
but like MOST performance
the cry is simply
MORE! MORE! MORE!
encore! and that takes its toll
when comes to ‘crazy’
easy to beat
you know – just grasp anger a little tighter
of course that squeezes joy out, too
can’t have everything
how do you WANT people to SEE you?
we are defined by our faults
not by our excellence
